Civilization VI: Byzantine and Gallic Palaces

Some freelance work I did with Firaxis! I’m super excited to share this finally!

I was responsible for modeling and texturing the palaces based off the concept art Firaxis provided me. The bulk of the modeling and texturing was done from scratch in 3ds Max, Blender, and Substance Painter, although a number of the meshes and textures (such as the grey palace foundation and the foliage), were repurposed from existing assets in Civilization VI.

I also designed and modeled the pillaged state of these structures (not shown). Rendered in Blender Eevee. Emissive maps differ slightly from what is used in-game.
