Buildings in many strategy games require scaffolding for an “in construction” state. This Houdini HDA is designed to automate, at least partially, the process of generating scaffolding.

The HDA accepts a 3D model of the building as its primary input, with an optional second input for defining areas where scaffolding should not appear. Users can adjust parameters to control the width, length, and height of the scaffolding blocks, for additional control and flexibility.

The final output is the scaffolding mesh, automatically UV-unwrapped and ready for immediate use or further manual editing in other 3D programs.
